Its been 10 years since the last King Britt presents SYLK130. Re-Member’s Only featured the amazing vocals of Alison Moyet, ABC, Kathy Sledge, De La Soul and the classic When the Funk Hits the Fan, started the whole Philly neo-soul rebirth and brought Alison Crockette and Lady Alma to the world’s ears.

Now, 2008, the final chapter in the autobiographical tale of a dj and his influences throught life. King Britt brings in vocal sensation Nikki Jean, who penned 3 songs on Lupe Fiasco and toured worldwide with Kanye West. Fallen Angel is part of the yet to be titled but highly anticipated new album. An album of all lovesongs, Fallen Angel is one song that combines the moodiness of David Lynch, the sonics of Bjork and the soul of Philadelphia.

King Britt remixed the amazing Children Go Round, from her Red Earth cd, which came out earlier this year. King Britt and Tim Motzer scored many scenes in the 2007, Michael Mann remake of Miami Vice. 2 songs are included here on the soundtrack!










The Nova Dream Sequence is King Britt's tribute to Detroit's techno scene. Being championed by everyone from Derrick May to Francois K to Carl Craig, has put this album at the top of the techno scene list. A must for all electronic music lovers!








Sister Gertrude Morgan was an artist, singer and evangelist from New Orleans, who was said to be a prophet by some and crazy by others. In 2006, King Britt and Tim Motzer, took the original, Lets Make A Record album and re-produced it into a masterpiece. Recently performed live at the Voodoo Festival in New Orleans, where they shared the stage with Nine Inch Nails, Thievery Coorporation and Mars Volta!








King Britt's hip hop production has always been on point. This album is part of the legendary, Beat Generation Series, on the great label BBE. The album includes songs with Butterfly from Digable Planets, Pos and Trugoy from De La Soul, Quasimoto (madlib), Bahamadia and many more. Includes the hit SuperStar featuring Ivana Santilli








When The Funk Hits The Fan is King Britt's first full length album. This was the blueprint for the 'neosoul scene' in the 90's in Philly. Features many of the best musicians in Philadelphia! Superstars Lady Alma, Alison Crockette and Tanja Dixon, made their debuts here.
